The Pretzel Place Story
Our delicious hot, buttered pretzels were created by a single mother determined to leave a legacy and provide for her children even though all the odds were stacked against her. Armed with a passion and with the help of her best friend, she created her secret recipe in their home kitchen, and began selling pretzels at local fairs and events.
Since then, The Pretzel Place has found a permanent home at First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas. Based on popular demand for our delicious pretzels at home, we’ve packaged all the dry ingredients, and step by step instructions into a simple DIY Pretzel Kit. The Original size contains the precise mix of ingredients to make about 6 of our famous soft pretzels, while the Party size doubles the recipe to make about 12 pretzels.

We recommend the following to make this kit:- A pan for baking
- Butter or pan liner
- Supply of lukewarm water
- 2 medium sized bowls
- Extra flour
- Tea towel or clean kitchen towel
- Apron if you want to wear one
- Kitchen scale or measuring cups and spoons
- Pam
- Knife or pizza cutter
